Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Varinus account and all the data linked to it at any time. The steps differ slightly between our two apps — pick the one you use below.

Varinus Fitness (the athlete app)

1. Open the Varinus app.
2. Go to Menu → Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and associated data are deleted right away.

What gets deleted: your profile (name, email, age, sex, height, weight and goals), your training and nutrition data, your workout and food logs, your progress and weight history, your chat messages with your coach, and any photos you uploaded (profile photo, progress photos and meal scans). This action cannot be undone.

Varinus Coach (the coaching app)

1. Open the Varinus Coach app.
2. Go to Profile and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you still have active clients, the app will ask you to contact support@varinus.com first. This is deliberate: deleting a coach account while people are paying for coaching would leave them without the service they bought. We off-board your clients, then delete your account.

What gets deleted: your coach profile (name, email, photo, bio, specialties and languages), your certifications and their photos, your intro video, your transformation gallery, your offers and prices, your call availability, your client files and private notes, your chat messages, and your public profile page. Your clients are unlinked from you. This action cannot be undone.

Either app — by email

If you no longer have the app installed, send an email to support@varinus.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". After verifying the request, we permanently delete your account and its data within 30 days.

What may be retained

We only retain records where the law requires it — for example transaction records kept for tax and accounting purposes — for the legally mandated period. Such records are never used for any other purpose and are deleted once the retention period ends.
